Equipment Operator/Foreman
Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator/Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment in construction settings, including bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and water trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as Caterpillar machinery, backhoes, loaders, and tankers
- Perform tasks including bulldozing, paving, and excavation on construction sites
- Ensure equipment is in good working condition by conducting regular inspections and maintenance
- Safely transport materials using water trucks
- Manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors
- Create project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines
- Monitor project progress and report updates to upper management
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met
- Conduct quality control inspections
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and water trucks
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
- Experience working on construction sites and familiarity with construction processes
- Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery efficiently
- Competency in backhoe operation for excavation tasks
